CONTEST: WIN TICKETS TO ADVANCE BASE AND BUILDING ON BUILDINGS AT THE BURLINGTON BAR, MARCH 26TH (CHICAGO)
With a self-titled debut LP under their belts recorded up at Justin Vernon’s April Base Studios, Building on Buildings are bringing their lush harmonies rooted in Madison, Wisconsin into Chicago for a very special concert at the Burlington Bar on March 26th. Connie Ward and Erin Fuller started the project a short couple years ago, letting it sprout and blossom thanks to several dates around Madison before Jaime Hansen (S. Carey, DeYarmond Edison) produced the ensemble’s first record in fall 2013 and winter 2014. Building on Buildings have opened for Caroline Smith, Warpaint, Tennis, The Sea and Cake, Savoir Adore, The Whigs and Field Report, among many others.
This time, Building on Buildings will be just before headliner Advance Base and fellow opener Dust Bunnies. Advance Base is Owen Ashworth of the classic Casiotone for the Painfully Alone.
