The Fonda Theatre in Hollywood, CA

Though he is widely known for being the frontman of My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way is doing quite alright on his own as he played a second sold out night in Hollywood.  This time at the Fonda Theatre, he packed the venue to the brim with his ever-adoring fans.  Roses were thrown on stage as Gerard Way and his band got into position.  They started the set off with “The Bureau” and went right into Hesitant Alien‘s first single “Action Cat.”  Watching fans singing every single word once wouldn’t guess Hesitant Alien had dropped on September 30th.  The show ended with “Now Shows” and an awesome cover of Jesus and the Mary Chain’s “Snakedriver.”  Way mingled with his fans a bit before The Fonda’s curtain closed.  Despite the audiences chants there wasn’t an encore.  Not to worry, I’m sure Gerard Way will visit us again soon.  Get Hesitant Alien here.  Check out the rest of Gerard Ways tour dates here.
